  • Is every item unique?

    Yes — most pieces are one of one. When it's in someone's cart, the site shows “Someone wants me” until their hold ends or they check out.

  • How long is my cart hold?

    Adding to cart reserves the item for 3 hours so you have time to decide — not forever, not five minutes.

  • What if my hold expires?

    The item goes back on the rack for others. Your cart keeps the listing, but it's no longer reserved — checkout fast if you still want it.

  • Someone else grabbed it first?

    First hold wins. Refresh the shop — new pieces drop often, and Clear the Rack deals move quickly.

  • How do sizes work?

    Each listing shows the exact size on that tag. No mystery “fits like a…” — what you see is what ships or waits on the porch.

Checkout & payment

Three paths, all straightforward.

  • How can I pay?

    Pay now online (porch pickup), pay when you pick up (Venmo, card tap, or cash), or ship anywhere in the US with $8 flat-rate shipping.

  • Do I need an account?

    Nope. Guest checkout on the web. Just email and phone so we can reach you about your order.

  • Pay later at the porch?

    Reserve online, inspect in person, then pay when you're happy. Perfect if you want to try on before committing.

  • Is online payment secure?

    Card payments run through Stripe. We never store your card number on our servers.

Shipping nationwide

Summerville roots, US-wide reach.

  • How much is shipping?

    $8 flat rate for your whole order — one box, anywhere in the United States.

  • When will it ship?

    We pack orders with care and ship as soon as possible after payment. You'll get details by email once it's on the way.

  • I'm not in South Carolina.

    That's fine — most of the closet ships. Condition notes and measurements are in every listing so you can buy with confidence.

  • I'm local — skip shipping?

    Choose porch pickup at checkout. Summerville-area friends can also book a private rack visit to browse in person.

    Porch pickup in Summerville, SC. After you order, we'll confirm your window by email.

  • Can I browse in person?

    Yes — book a one-hour private visit. Racks are laid out for you (bring a friend). Address shared after confirmation.

  • Visit vs online shop?

    The website and app show what's live right now. Visits let you touch, try on, and hunt in real life — best of both.

Condition & peace of mind

Honest notes, no surprises.

  • What does NWT mean?

    New With Tag — never worn, tag still attached. NWOT is new without the tag; Pre-loved has been worn gently.

  • Will it look like the photos?

    We photograph real items — flaws included. Read the description; that's the contract between us.

  • Exchanges or returns?

    Within 3 days of pickup or delivery: exchange or store credit if unworn and same condition (tags on when applicable).

App & reminders

  • Is there an app?

    Yes — iOS and Android apps tie into the same inventory and cart as the website. Links on our App page.

  • Hold reminders?

    Turn on notifications in the app (or add email at checkout) — we'll nudge you about an hour before a hold expires.

  • App vs website cart?

    Same shop, same rules. A hold in the app is the same reservation system as the site.
